I worked at a high school today. I prefer the high school kids. They are not as needy as the elementary kids. You ask the younger kids what they want on their salad and they get all wide eyed and scared. The deer caught in the headlights look. "Oh, no!" "She asked me a question!"
Despite the general reputation, I am not a mean lunch lady. I smile and say hello. I make jokes. The elementary school kids do not get my humor. So I have decided to try Spongebob' s kind of humor. I sing the Krusty Krab pizza song. Got a few smiles.
